Taylor began her YouTube career by making ASMR videos with her mobile phone. Soon after reaching 50,000 subscribers, approximately 1 1/2 months after the upload of her first video she appeared in a game video made created by PewDiePie. Taylor's Youtube channel had reached 100,000 users within two months. Taylor ceased to produce videos, and then put them up on her private. Wired UK reported that in February of 2019, she was earning 1,000 dollars per day by ads on her YouTube channel.

Dennis Helfer and Elaine Helfer are the parents of Helfer. Her parents are from German as well as English descendance. She attended the Stettler's William E. Hay Composite High School. She worked and lived on the family's grain farm alongside her three sisters: Trena, Tammy and Tara. An agent scout spotted Helfer aged 17 while she was standing in line for a screening.
